WaveRunner Rentals & Safari Tours including Capers Island

Tidalwave Watersport's Yamaha Waverunners offer guests a thrilling experience on the water. Patrons can rent the watercraft an hour at a time or book a 90 minute Waverunner Safari where a guide introduces riders to the barrier islands and various wildlife in the area.

Waverunners combine the fun of boating with the thrill of motorcycle riding in one nimble watercraft. Riders are given instruction on how to drive the equipment and then can enjoy a large area of riding space during this hour long rental (the hour long period does include travel time out to and back from the riding area). The rental fee includes a lightweight life jacket for the rider's safety. The waverunners can accomodate a driver and two extra passengers (three riders total). Drivers must be at least 16 years old (with parental signature for minors), and rentals require a valid driver's license and a credit care imprint or cash deposit.

For guests interested in an extended look at the surrounding barrier islands and extra time in the water, the Safari Tour is a perfect fit. A Safari Tour covers 30 miles over a 90 minute period and is a fun, family oriented activity for many ages and interests. These high speed tours are lead by a knowledgeable, experienced guide and include a stop on Capers Island (the largest uninhabited island on the east coast). There guests will find incredible shelling and wildlife sighting opportunities. Life jackets  are included in the price of the tour, and all drivers must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license and a signed waiver.

WaveRunner Safari Testimony

I highly recommend the WaveRunner Safari! It is a fun adventure through the sea creeks and barrier island area. My wife was a little hesitant to drive the waverunner with one of our boys riding with her and one of the guides overheard our conversation and offered to let our 5 year old son ride with him. That worked out perfect. The staff was awesome. We really enjoyed the experience.
