Water Mission is a nonprofit Christian engineering ministry based in Charleston, SC providing long-lasting safe water and sanitation solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas.
Safe water is the source of life. It is the foundation for health, education, and viable economies. Through the generous support of individuals, churches, corporate partners, and many others, Water Missions International has brought relief and hope to more than 2.4 million people across the globe.
Faith and belief in the sanctity of life compel WM to develop and implement the best technologies and community development programs so God will be honored and glorified through the organization's work.
SOLUTIONS
The global water crisis is more than just a lack of safe water. People are trapped in cyclical poverty with no way out. Water Mission takes a comprehensive approach in trying to combat the crisis. They don't simply place a water system in a community and leave. They customize safe water and sanitation solutions to match the needs of the individual communities and partner with local leaders to implement the solution and educate the community.
