An Exciting Way to See the Lowcountry on the Water
Tidalwave Watersport's Yamaha Waverunners offer guests a thrilling experience on the water. Patrons can rent the watercraft an hour at a time or book a 90 minute Waverunner Safari where a guide introduces riders to the barrier islands and various wildlife in the area.
Charleston WaveRunner Tour of Capers Island
For guests interested in an extended look at the surrounding barrier islands and extra time in the water, the Safari Tour is a perfect fit. These WaveRunner Tours cover 30 miles over a 90 minute period and are a fun, family oriented activity for many ages and interests. These high speed tours are lead by a knowledgeable, experienced guide and include a stop on Capers Island (the largest uninhabited island on the east coast). There guests will find incredible shelling and wildlife sighting opportunities. Life jackets are included in the price of the tour, and all drivers must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license and a signed waiver.

Traveling Ink guests are eligible for a 10% discount on their waverunner excursion. Guests must print out this coupon and bring it with them when they check in with Tidalwave Watersports. Reservations are highly recommended as seats sell out quickly during prime months. To make a reservation, call (843) 886-8456. Charleston WaveRunner Rentals
Waverunners combine the fun of boating with the thrill of motorcycle riding in one nimble watercraft. Riders are given instruction on how to drive the equipment and then can enjoy a large area of riding space during this hour long rental (the hour long period does include travel time out to and back from the riding area). The rental fee includes a lightweight life jacket for the rider's safety. The waverunners can accomodate a driver and two extra passengers (three riders total). Drivers must be at least 16 years old (with parental signature for minors), and rentals require a valid driver's license and a credit care imprint or cash deposit.
