AN OVERVIEW

When people ask for a recommendation on a nice sit down dinner at a seafood restaurant in town, Hank's is the go-to place to send them. The tastefully appointed dining room will hint at the deliciously prepared food that is about to grace their palette. The folks at Hank's hit seafood selections out of the park, but don't worry if seafood is not your favorite. They also prepare a delightful pepper crusted beef tenderloin and a scrumptious double boneless buttermilk fried chicken breast.

 

ATMOSPHERE

Great food and a charming atmosphere will greet guests here. Hank's home is an expertly renovated turn of the century warehouse overlooking the historic open air market. The restaurant recreates the feel of a classic 1940's style Charleston style fish house in a building that is registered as a national historic landmark. Antique tiling accents the beautiful plank floors as guests walk through the entryway at Hank's. Mahogany woodwork, hand-blown glass windows, and an exhibition style raw bar also serve as focal points. The restaurant is filled with a mix of locals out for a nice nice dinner, business folks treating themselves after a day of work, and out-of-town guests who are looking for some of the best seafood around. Reservations are highly recommended in this popular destination, but visitors are welcome to meet new friends at the community table if the reservation slips their mind.   

 

Hours: Serving dinner Sunday - Saturday starting at 5:00 p.m.
